THE COACH
A 1983 Graduate of Loara High School, Coach Rolph played on the C.I.F. Championship baseball team. Went on to play college baseball for the Legendary Coach John Scolinos at Cal Poly Pomona. Coach Rolph was one of only 6 college players to Homer at Angel Stadium in the Metro League All Star game. After graduating from Cal Poly Pomona coach joined the staff at Rio Hondo College and then Cypress College where they went on to win the 1991 State Title. Coach Rolph's next stop was becoming the youngest to manage in the Italian Professional League where his team enjoyed much success. Upon returning to the states Coach joined the staff at Loara High. A number of stops later led Coach back to Loara as a full-time teacher in the Special Education Department. Mentoring and coaching young athletes in tennis, basketball, volleyball, football and 16 years as the head softball coach have been unbelievable times at his alma mater. Currently teaching in the RSP Department and serving as Athletic Director at Loara High School. Coach Rolph has also taken on two new challenges as the Head Girls Volleyball Coach and the Head Baseball Coach. Coach is married to fellow Saxon and 83 graduate Julie, has two beautiful daughters, two amazing granddaughters, and his amazing sidekick Skipper (miniature schnauzer). Motto: To get 1% Better Each and Every Day! In his spare time, haha The Coach loves to golf and do custom woodworking projects. Stay focused and live a purposeful life. All the best.
